Our focus is on family firms, and more closely the sources of their performance. Family firms are known to carry a great deal of market clout and achieve remarkably high levels of performance.
The aim of this article is to develop a literature-based model to explain this performance through three main components: neutrality, convergence of interests and entrenchment.
