Crossed perspectives on the Pedagogy of Entrepreneurship Education

Entrepreneurship is a key factor of development. Economically, it represents a lever for growth while socially, it is a provider of employment. The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor – which is a consortium of national country teams, primarily associated with top academic institutions, that carries out survey-based research on entrepreneurship around the world – considers basic entrepreneurship education and training to be one of the nine entrepreneurial framework conditions. According to the 2020-2021 report, Morocco has very low rates in this pillar. Consequently, enormous efforts remain to be done in this strategic area. Thus, this paper aims to explore a variety of best practices in entrepreneurship education around the world and over time. Through a benchmarking approach, this paper explores the different public initiatives, private initiatives, and public-private partnership initiatives operating in entrepreneurship education in Morocco. Considering the multiplicity of initiatives and the lack of a referential gathering of all of them, this paper will study the main concepts of the initiatives undertaken.
